Permits Issued

Scott and Laura Morgan have been hard at work converting their home near the village square in the Cincy suburb of Glendale into a cozy craft brewery and taproom. Visitors walking through the front door of GlendAlehouse Brewery should feel right at home: go through the foyer to the dining room – converted to serve as the bar – then find a spot in the house to sit and sip. After the initial opening, the Morgans plan to develop their spacious backyard to accommodate more guests. Follow GlendAlehouse Brewery in Instagram for updates on a targeted August opening date.

It’s been a little over two years since Mike and Lisa Bauman took over the dentist’s office on the corner of Franklin and Federal in Toronto, Ohio, just north of Steubenville. Pre-opening Collaborations

John McGroarty has honed his brewing expertise at several breweries around northeast Ohio prior to going out on his own with Green Valley Brewing Company. While Hudson’s newest brewery is still under construction, McGroarty has been making the rounds with brewing industry pals to brew collaboration beers that can be served when Green Valley is ready to open their doors. No timetable has been announced yet, but look for collabs with the Butcher & the Brewer, Noble Beast, Bell Tower and more on the tap list when the grand opening happens. Wandering Monsters Brewing received their manufacturing permit this week, which means an opening date isn’t far away. Follow Wandering Monsters on Instagram for updates on their soon-to-be-announced opening date.
