Doubling Down on Daybreak

Cheers to nine years of beers from Wolf’s Ridge Brewing! To celebrate, they’ll release nine anniversary beers starting this Thursday, September 15 at their taproom in downtown Columbus. Foeder Fest, a version of Wolf’s Ridge’s annual Oktoberfest Märzen aged in a giant oak maturing vessel, is the first of the planned releases. Stop by the taproom this Thursday and take home a limited edition 20 oz. mug as well.

The second release is a doozy: Wolf’s Ridge has won multiple awards on the biggest beer competition stages for Daybreak, their immensely popular coffee vanilla cream ale. Starting next Wednesday, Sept. 21, Daybreak fans will be able to double their pleasure with Double Shot Daybreak, an imperial version of the flagship beer with even more coffee and vanilla flavor, bolstered by an 8% ABV kick. Double Shot Daybreak will share the taps with nine other Clear Sky cream ale infusions, including several distinctly breakfast inspired options like Fruity Pebbles, Golden Grahams and Chocolate Cinnamon Toast Brunch.

The remainder of the anniversary releases happen on Saturday, Sept. 24 during the brewery’s ninth anniversary bash. Seven barrel aged beers will be available in bottles, sold on the Wolf’s Ridge online store starting at 2 p.m. and available for same day pickup in the taproom, as well as local delivery and statewide shipping. Fans of  the brewery’s Dire Wolf imperial stout, Lil’ Nippert barleywine and Belgian-style Tripel will be more than satisfied with the bottle lineup, as well as the IX anniversary blend.
