Have you ever wanted to brew a beer on a commercial brewing system? You and a friend will have the opportunity to brew a commercial batch of beer with the team from Nocterra Brewing Company! You will be walked through the brew process from start to finish and have the experience to learn more about how the beverage we all love is created. The day will conclude with a beer tasting with the brew team.

Tour the Wolf’s Ridge Brewing Production Facility and barrel storage room. Learn about barrel aging and experience the unique sensory wonders of wood aged beer. Learn about aging beer in bottles and return home with a unique souvenir from our brewing past. Dire Wolf anyone?

GREATER CLEVELAND

NORTHEAST

Missing Falls Brewery will host you and 5 of your friends on a bicycle tour of five Akron breweries ending with a complimentary dinner at Missing Falls Brewery. We will meet at Missing Falls at 1 p.m. on April 24, 2021. We will depart and will visit Eighty Three Brewery, Akronym Brewing, Lock 15 Brewing Co., and Magic City Brewing Company. The tour should take 3-4 hours and will conclude with dinner for six and complimentary pint glasses for six at Missing Falls Brewery.

Enjoy a private tour of HiHO Brewing Co. with co-founder and Head Brewer, Jon Hovan. After the tour learn more about HiHO, our beers, and enjoy some pizza and beverages with the brewer.

NORTHWEST

Take part in a private ghost hunt at the Phoenix Brewing Company! The former Schroer Family Mortuary and funeral home, originally built in 1914, closed in 1935 and was reborn as the Phoenix Brewing Company in 2014. Before its restoration, the building was featured in several of Mansfield’s Haunted Downtown tours. During the renovation and beyond, there were many claims of strange sightings, people being touched, closing doors, odd occurrences, sensations and numerous orbs in photos. Several professional ghost hunters have even spent time in the building after hours.

SOUTHEAST

You and up to three friends (four people total) can spend an afternoon being rowed down the beautiful Tuscarawas River in the Wooly Pig Farm Brewery brewmaster Kevin Ely’s drift boat. Enjoy a day of refreshments, wildlife and Wooly Pig team canoe escorts.

Take an exclusive tour of the Little Fish brewery in Athens and learn about its beers and history with co-founder Jimmy Stockwell. Afterwards, enjoy a sample flight of four Little Fish beers as Jimmy provides tasting notes.

SOUTHWEST

Work with Urban Artifact’s chief of brewing operations, Bret Kollmann Baker, to develop a pilot-sized batch of beer (following in Urban Artifact’s niche, ex. fruited sour or epicurean beers.) Then come up with your own name for the beer (following Urban Artifact’s naming guidelines): art director/co-owner Scott Hand will create custom artwork for the label design and a custom Giclee print on archival watercolor fine art paper for you to hang at your home/bar/basement/office.

Fretboard Brewing Company in Blue Ash, Ohio is offering the opportunity for your band to have an official beer bearing your band’s name! Depending on the 2021 production schedule and what style of beer is being brewed, there is a chance it will end up in 6-packs as well as draft.

OHIO CRAFT BREWERS ASSOCIATION

Do you miss going to festivals, tasting dozens of beers and collecting tasting glasses from each? Well, we’ve got you covered! Ever wonder what a day in the life of OCBA staff is like?
