Is Your Dog “Beer Can Cute”? 

I don’t know how many times I have told my freeloading Norwegian Elkhound to “get a job.” Now, with a little bit of help from their humans, all of our lazy dogs can become professional non-profit fundraisers!

RESCUEDohio is teaming up with Sideswipe Brewing to find central Ohio’s cutest dog; the dog with the highest number of votes will be featured on the label of a brand new beer that Sideswipe will release in March.

Submit your dog’s photo by Jan. 31 and start drumming up votes from your family, friends and co-workers. Each vote is a $1 donation to RESCUEDohio, helping them continue to find forever homes for unwanted and abandoned dogs in central Ohio.

The winning dog will receive a professional photo shoot from Holly Hildreth Photography for the beer can labels provided by OCBA allied member Blue Label Packaging. The winner will be the guest of honor at the beer release party at Sideswipe Brewing on March 23. Presumably, the winning dog’s human will be invited to attend as well.

If you don’t have a dog to enter in the contest, you can still vote and donate to RESCUEDohio through Jan. 31 and attend the beer release party in March. Help decide the winner and do some good in the process!
