Brewer/Cellar Person

Big Ash Brewing Company in Cincinnati, Ohio is looking to hire a full-time Brewer/Cellar position. We are a small 2-3 person team for production and each person is involved all aspects of beer production from wort creation through packaging.

Duties to include but not limited to the following…

• Wort production on our 7bbl brewhouse
• Cellar duties including yeast pitch and collection, gravity readings, dry hop, biofine, etc.
• Carbonation of, and packaging of beer
• Performing cip/sip on all equipment
• Keg washing with our semi-automated keg washer
• Keeping brewing and cellar areas organized and clean.
• Cleaning tap lines and maintaining keg cooler
• Assist with other duties as needed such as inventory, QA/QC, cleaning, festivals

Desired Skills…..

• Previous professional brewing experience or brewing education
• Ability to work as a team as well as independently
• Able to interact with customers
• Physically able to climb ladders, lift heavy loads
• Knowledge of brewing and packaging process
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, think on your feet
• Mechanical knowledge and understanding
• Attention to cleanliness and detail a must
• Must have a positive attitude
• Must love craft beer

Pay dependent on experience.
