Accounting Manager

We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join our collaborative team. This role will manage
all accounting functions for our rapidly growing company and have high visibility to the management
team. We are looking for tenacious candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a
strong attention to detail and can seamlessly navigate ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare and present monthly financial statements
  • Assist in forecasting financial performance and communicating progress to management team
  • Manage annual budgeting cycle, partnering with business leaders to create effective plans
  • Analyze service mix and profitability, make recommendations for margin expansion
  • Manage all treasury functions and maintain regular cash flow projections
  • Manage balance sheet, including key areas like inventory and fixed assets
  • Maintain documentation to support financial recordkeeping, including journal entries,
    reconciliations and analysis where needed
  • Manage key external relationships with bookkeepers, tax advisors, bankers, vendors,
    insurance brokers and others
  • Oversee financial operations of retail locations

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Public accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Firm understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work autonomously on multiple tasks in a face-paced environment
  • Positive and proactive attitude
