Position: Sales Representative
Full-Time, Salaried-Exempt
Reports To: Head Brewer
Compensation: Base Salary + Commission. Generous health benefits. 401k with employer match after one year of employment. Beer and coffee allowance.
General Summary:
Olentangy River Brewing Company Sales Representative is responsible for assisting in the sale, merchandising, and promotion of brewery products. Our sales rep is expected to achieve sales goals for revenue and volume growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate new sales for ORBC, which can include interacting with distributors, retailers, or profitable contacts. Tracks and meetings daily, monthly, and quarterly sales goals, and creates reports — to be determined by the Head Brewer and Board. Engages, grows, and manages a list of key accounts and forecasting growth. Performs other duties, as assigned.
Other Duties:
Assists Head Brewer with tasks, as assigned. Researches and brings ideas for higher growth and strategic account management. Keeps up-to-date knowledge of trends within brewery industry. Collaborates with both customers and staff to achieve company-wide goals.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service. Proven sales track record, preferably within the beverage industry. Excellent time management skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with state and federal laws for beer and beverage sales. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel), or other related software. Reliable mode of travel to prospective clients.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous sales experience is required; a minimum of 1 year of sales and/or account management is highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift 25lbs at times.
