Cellar Technician (Entry Level)

Under the direction of the shift lead Brewer, the Cellar Technician is responsible for keeping the cellar organized and clean, assisting in raw material and waste stream movement, and assisting with cellar processes according to established standard operating procedures (SOP’s).  This is an entry level position to a brewing career.

Requirements:

  • Night shift and weekend availability is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to be organized and maintain a high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, and within a team environment.
  • Ability to follow and execute specific instructions when given by Shift Lead Brewer.
  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • Must be 21 years of age

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work long hours on your feet.
  • Ability to work in a hot, wet, and loud environment.
  • Ability to crouch, bend, lift, and reach.
  • Ability to remain focused and level-headed under demanding situations.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.or more.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the cellar.
  • Cleaning and organizing parts inventory.
  • Working safely with cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing beer bright tanks and fermenters.
  • Execution of CMB production per standard opening procedures.
  • All other tasks as assigned.
