We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Director of Accounting & Finance. This position is located in Cincinnati. The role will be focused on leading our finance and accounting teams to help the company forecast and plan across all departments in the company.  We’re looking for someone that shares our zany personality, love for craft beer & beverages, and can beat the drum in a professional and inspiring rhythm to further our profitable growth in the craft beverage space.


Position Summary: Reporting to the CEO, Founders and across the organization you will supervise the Financial & Accounting Planning, Analysis & Reporting function for the organization that is created by a team of staff.  You will guide and oversee financial and accounting reviews, analysis and consolidation of actual results, forecasting, tax reporting, audit results, administration of our ESOP and annual operating plans. Align and communicate business drivers to the organization by partnering with teams across the organization to.


Essential Functions:

  • Supports organization financial objectives by providing financial analyses and recommendations and directing staff
  • Develops accounting organizational strategies by contributing accounting and financial information, inspecting, drafting recommendations for strategic thinking and direction, and establishing functional PLAN in line with organizational Goal
  • Establishes accounting operational strategies by evaluating trends, establishing critical measurements, calculating production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies, designing systems, accumulating resources, resolving problems, and implementing change.
  • Provides financial projections by coordinating budget/forecast preparation, collecting, reviewing, and consolidating financial information, and advising departments on the collection and analysis of data.
  • Maintains sufficient funds by forecasting cash requirements and obligations.
  • Minimizes legally required taxes by studying regulations, presenting tax strategies to management, and filing returns.
  • Maximizes sales margins by recommending product and service pricing policies.
  • Minimizes inventory investment by evaluating returns and recommending inventory levels and reorder points.
  • Administrate 401k, ESOP and payroll.


  • BS or BA in Accounting or Finance
  • Three to six years of relevant accounting or finance experience
  • Accounting/Finance management experience
  • Experience supervising accounting/finance staff
  • CPA preferred
  • Experience supervising accounting and finance staff
  • Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivables
  • Experience with SAP – Orchestrated Beer preferred
  • Advanced/Expert level Excel skills
  • Experience developing partnerships with the team, internal customers, peers; manage those relationships
  • Strong attention to detail; highly organized
  • Ability to leverage analytics, benchmarking, and insights to generate meaningful strategies and solutions
  • Experience with P&L and balance sheet management
  • Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivables
  • Knowledge of of State and Federal tax laws
