Wolf’s Ridge Brewing wraps up Columbus Craft Beer Week with two sought-after bottle release. First up is Canis Mexicanus, a spiced Imperial Stout, going on sale today at 3 p.m. Then on Saturday, May 19, bottles of apple brandy barrel aged Dire Wolf Imperial Stout will go on sale at 10 a.m. Both beers will be sold in 22 oz. bomber bottles from the Wolf’s Ridge taproom in downtown Columbus. Cheers to three years of beers from Restoration Brew Worx in Delaware! Sibling Revelry Brewing will release cans of their fan favorite Coffee Red ale today at the brewery in Westlake. Coffee Red is a unique take on their traditional Red Ale, conditioned with freshly roasted whole bean coffee from Cleveland’s own duck-rabbit Coffee Roasters. Sandy Springs Brewing Company in Minerva will release their Happy Sappy maple beer at noon today. Owners Andy and Amanda Conrad have been brewing this 12% ABV monster at home since 2007 using maple sap harvested from their family’s farm. Urban Artifact got a special delivery this week, rolling in new fermentation tanks that will essentially double the brewery’s capacity. Demand for beers from the sour-focused brewery has been steadily growing since opening the doors in Cincinnati’s Northside neighborhood three years ago. Raspberry Beret, the kind you find at Streetside Brewery, is getting the can treatment for the first time. Ohio has a new beer competition debuting this year: the Ohio Craft Brewers Cup is currently accepting contest submissions from licensed Ohio craft breweries through Monday, July 9.
