97.1 The Fan radio personalities Common Man and T-Bone have dueling beers on tap at Land Grant Brewing this week. Head to the Franklinton taproom to try Man’s Common, a crushable California Common, and International House of Bone, a maple-laden breakfast stout. Stop by Gordon Biersch in the Arena District and try one of their two new infusion brews: Mocha Rye Stout and Blood Orange IPA. They also tapped their summer seasonal Sommerbrau Kolsch this week. Cheers to four years of beers from Platform Beer Co.! Their anniversary party will be held at the Lorain Ave. taproom on Saturday, June 30 starting at 10 a.m. Two limited edition collaborations will be released in cans to commemorate the occasion. Forest City Brewery has released another baseball-themed beer. Grey Eagle DIPA is named for Cleveland’s Hall of Fame centerfielder Tris Speaker. Speaker holds the all-time MLB record for doubles and has a lifetime fielding percentage of .971. Grey Eagle is a Double IPA with an ABV of 9.71%. Well played…

The mug club at Hansa Brewery will restart on Sunday, July 1. Big weekend at Hoppin’ Frog Brewery in Akron. Saturday, June 30 marks the release of Sattler’s Lakeside Ale, a hazy Belgian-style Imperial Wit Ale with crisp citrus aromas and hints of spice. You can also try Andy & Fred’s Excellent Adventure, a Russian Imperial Porter collaboration brew with Gänstaller Bräu in Schnaid, Germany. Thirsty Dog Brewing Co. will tap their new 330 IPA on Thursday, July 5. 330 IPA is made with locally sourced barley from West Branch Malts and uses Summit hops to drive a citrusy, spicy, herbal flavor. Y Bridge Brewing in Zanesville will hold an Ales for ALS fundraising event on Saturday, June 30. Breweries around the world participate in the fundraising program, receiving a special donated hop blend from Loftus Ranches and YCH Hops. ‘90’s kids will appreciate the new beer release coming today from Taft’s Brewing Company. Salute Your Schwarz is an easy-drinking black lager/schwarzbier, clocking in at 4.8% ABV and 22 IBU. Narrow Path Brewing is celebrating the red, white and blue on July 4 with a special beer release. Branch & Bone Artisan Ales unveiled a new beer this week that pays tribute to Dayton hometown heroes Guided By Voices.
