Rallying for One of Our Own
Ohio’s craft breweries are often first in line to raise funds for local people in need. That’s especially true in the tragic circumstance when a member of the brewing community is the one that needs help.
Last week, the news came out that Aaron Grizaniuk, co-founder of Patron Saints Brewery, was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer. Toledo-area breweries immediately organized to help their beloved friend and colleague.
On Thursday, April 7, two dozen northwest Ohio breweries will donate $1 from every pint of beer sold in their taprooms to a GoFundMe account set up to benefit the Grizaniuk family. Here’s the list of Ohio Craft Brewers Association members participating in the fundraiser:
