Random Precision Celebrates Four Years of Beers

It’s pretty sweet to be a sour beer fan in central Ohio. As tart and funky styles grow in popularity, more and more breweries are exploring the sour segment with very pleasing results. One of the capital city’s two breweries specializing exclusively in sour beer, Random Precision Brewing Company, is gearing up for their fourth anniversary celebration this Saturday, March 19 at their taproom in Columbus’s Linworth neighborhood.

When the taproom doors open at noon, Random Precision will release the brand new Promises Broken pale ale, fermented with Brettanomyces to add a tart complexity to a brew bursting with fruit flavors from Rakau, Belma and Barbe Rouge hops. One keg of Promises Broken will be infused with fresh strawberries as well, so be sure to get there early to try that. They’ll also tap a fresh batch of fan favorite Unforeseen Consequences golden sour ale infused with raspberries just for the event.

Random Precision will be giving away two early admission tickets to Six One Pour: The Ohio Craft Beer Fest, which returns to COSI in Columbus on Saturday, May 14. The brewery will accept entries throughout the day on Saturday and will announce the winner on March 20.
