Sonder Expands to West Chester
A little over four years since founding their brewery in Mason, Sonder Brewing is ready to open a second taproom location. Today the brewery announced plans for the Sonder Taphaus and Kitchen, to be located in West Chester about seven miles from the original Mason taproom.
When Sonder was delivering beer direct to customers during the pandemic, they noticed a heavy concentration of orders in the West Chester area. That existing fan base helped make the decision where the brewery should expand.
“We have searched for the right location for about two years,” states Justin Neff, Sonder Brewing’s president and CEO, “and we love the space and overall opportunity that this location offers us.”
Sonder’s West Chester Taphaus will offer a cozier experience compared to the sprawling taproom and beer garden on the brewery’s Mason campus. Plans call for a full selection of Sonder beers on draft, complementing a thoughtfully developed menu of seasonal dishes and shareable food.
Construction is slated to begin once permits are approved. No opening sate has yet been announced, but is expected sometime in 2023. For more details on the Sonder Taphaus and Kitchen, visit sonderbrewing.com
