Stepping Up for Nature
Yellow Springs Brewery has a very close relationship with the nearby Glen Helen Nature Preserve, a bond we’ve featured on this blog a handful of times over the past few years. If nature and beer are your things, you’ll want to mark your calendar for the next Yellow Springs/Glen Helen joint event on Saturday, Sept. 3.
The day starts at 10 a.m. with a guided hike through the preserve starting at the Yellow Springs Brewery taproom (tickets available in the brewery’s online store.) You’ll also be able to start or renew a Glen Helen membership that morning and score a new limited edition tote bag.
When you’re done with the hike – or if you decide to spend the morning in the taproom instead – you can enjoy a pint of Stone Stepper, the tangerine pale ale made in collaboration with Glen Helen. Chef Dane will also be on hand at the taproom slinging brunch until 1 p.m. to refuel your tank after the hike. Don’t forget to take a six-pack of Stone Stepper home with you as well.
