Such Great Heights

Fun fact that you may not have known about the juniper tree: it thrives at extremely high elevations. In fact, the juniper forests in the Tibetan Himalayas are among the highest treelines in the world. Distinctiveness, adaptability, resilience are essential for surviving in the thin air… and thriving in today’s craft beer market.

A strong showing in the 2022 World Beer Championships solidified Juniper Brewing Company‘s upward climb in the Ohio beer landscape. In a little less than two years of operation, the brewery has passed the 100 batch milestone, creating more than 50 unique beers over that span including the award winning Soulshine west coast style IPA and Interstellar Overdrive hazy IPA.

Juniper’s 100th batch is a double hazy IPA inundated with Galaxy, Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops, and appropriately named 100 Year Flood. The beer gives off powerful aromas of pineapple, peach and white grape, paired with a smooth, pleasantly full body. The beer is on tap now at Juniper’s downtown Bowling Green brewpub.

We know that 100 Year Flood is not Juniper’s high water mark, and we’re excited to see what’s coming from them over the next 100 batches of beer. Find out more about this momentous brew at instagram.com/juniperbrew
