Tales from the Cryptid

I’m not 100% sure how we always end up writing about Bigfoot on this blog, but here we go again…

“Squatchers” from all over the country will be descending on Logan, Ohio this weekend for the Hocking Hills Bigfoot Festival. The inaugural festival combines presentations by cryptozoologists and other Bigfoot researchers with activities and entertainment geared toward cryptid hunters and enthusiasts over two days this Friday, Aug. 5 and Saturday, Aug. 6.

To get in the spirit of the fest, Brewery 33 – located just across the highway from downtown Logan – is holding a Big Boot contest this weekend. Wear the biggest pair of boots you can find to the brewery this Saturday night: the biggest boots will win a new pair from Nelsonville, Ohio’s own Rocky Boots.

You can even pair your big boots with a big beer, as Brewery 33 will release their brand new Skookum stout this weekend. Keep an eye on the brewery’s social media for any updates before this weekend’s event: facebook.com/br3w3ry
