Turning Miles Into Smiles

Fifty-three miles. That’s the distance between Upside Brewing in downtown Sylvania and Findlay Brewing Company, a quick jaunt down I-75 in northwest Ohio for fans of Ohio craft beer. As it turns out, the owners of the two breweries are more than familiar with this drive, visiting each other on numerous occasions over the years as the friendship between both breweries grew.

This Saturday, October 15, that friendship will manifest itself in the form of a new collaboration beer called 53 Miles. You can enjoy this hazy pale ale at both the Upside and Findlay taprooms, or take a pint to-go in a DORA cup and stroll around the downtown areas. The Sylvania Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their 36th annual Fall Festival this Saturday, so you can sip on a fresh pour of 53 Miles while taking in the cornucopia of locally-produced goods and family-friendly activities.
