Winter Warmer Cask Day is our celebration of winter, seasonal, limited edition and high-gravity beers, taking place at 38 brewery taprooms around northeast Ohio.

Our traditional Winter Warmer Fest will return to Windows on the River on Saturday, March 5, 2022.

Winter Warmer Cask Day: Saturday, March 6, 2021!

While we can’t have a traditional beer festival this year, we can still offer you a taste of the world-class brews that make Winter Warmer Fest the best beer tasting event in the state. Cleveland and Northeast Ohio breweries will tap unique casks and release special beers in their taprooms and brewpubs on the same day to channel the spirit of Winter Warmer Fest.

Unlike our usual Winter Warmer Fest, you do not have to purchase tickets to enjoy Cask Day. To help you plan your brewery visits and drink responsibly, we’ve compiled a list of participating breweries, the special beers they plan to release, what time they’ll be available and how they’ll be poured. Beers served from casks are generally in smaller supply, while beers on draft may last a little longer depending on the size of the keg and the demand for the beer. Plan accordingly!

Participating breweries will also have a limited number of these collectible Winter Warmer ’21 glasses available. Each brewery has the option to sell the glasses or give them away, so you may want to check in with the breweries you plan to visit to find out how they will be made available. The glass is a 13.25 oz. Hugo stemless snifter with Winter Warmer ’21 artwork designed by Clinton Reno. Only 1,700 of these glasses were made, so we expect them to go fast!
