Winter Warmer Gets Cooler

After several years of sold-out events, Winter Warmer Fest is growing for its 16th incarnation. The premier showcase of Ohio craft beer returns to Cleveland on Saturday, March 4, 2023 with more than 50 breweries on hand, each pouring their winter seasonal, limited-edition and high-gravity beers at Windows on the River in the Flats.

New for this year is the inaugural Warmer’s Eve, an elevated Winter Warmer experience taking place on Friday, March 3 from 7-10 p.m. Attendees will enjoy exclusive first tastes of rare, strong and show-stopping beers from 18 of the festival’s most popular breweries. In addition to the beers, Warmer’s Eve guests will be served specially created hors d’oeuvres throughout the event. A limited number of tickets are available for the new Friday night session in order to provide a more intimate Winter Warmer experience.

Winter Warmer Fest is organized by the Ohio Craft Brewers Association, with proceeds funding our mission to promote, preserve, diversify and unify Ohio’s craft brewing industry.

“Over the years, we’ve looked for ways to grow Winter Warmer Fest while still keeping the magic of what made it great in the first place,” said Ohio Craft Brewers Association executive director Mary MacDonald. “The breweries at Warmer’s Eve will be raising the bar for a festival already known for exceptional beer. Winter Warmer fans who seek out the rarest beers every year are going to love this new addition to the festival.”

Winter Warmer Fest and Warmer’s Eve tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 25 at 7 a.m. Warmer’s Eve tickets are available in advance for $95 each, which includes a souvenir glass and tasting tickets for 20 four-ounce beer samples. Designated driver admission is available in advance for $50 and includes hors d’oeuvres but no beer sampling. Warmer’s Eve tickets do not grant admission to Winter Warmer Fest on Saturday.

General admission tickets for the traditional Winter Warmer Fest session on Saturday, March 4 from 2-5 p.m. are available in advance for $55, which includes a souvenir glass and tasting tickets for 20 four-ounce beer samples. A limited number of early admission tickets are also available for $65, granting admission at 1 p.m. Designated driver admission is available for $20 and includes a food truck voucher.

As in prior years, Winter Warmer Fest is expected to sell out in advance of the event. Tickets can be purchased online at www.beerfesttickets.com/winterwarmer23

Warmer’s Eve tickets will be available for $90 each if purchased on Black Friday (Nov. 25.)
